I wouldn’t put real stone next to faux stone. Go for the light gray.

The light gray seems so close in color to the cabinet color. I’m afraid it may look too blah. My cabinets are marshmallow cream.

The truth is you don’t have the right tile yet. Your counter is relatively quiet with little color or movement, so you have the opportunity to choose an eye catching tile, but you’re limiting yourself to shades of gray subway tiles.

You want a timeless look, so you may want to maintain a neutral color space, but there are so many color options that still read neutral. Perhaps lean on the barnwood color a bit. Maybe choose a shaped tile to liven things up. Can you show us the inspiration images you’ve been using for your kitchen? Also, what is the counter material?

After seeing your inspo pics, go for the middle. Definitely not the marble tile with a marble-look countertop. Some of your pics showed tile with slight color -- light green or a taupe-y color. Look at Sonoma Tile Makers for some crackle tile options.

Agreed, the middle tile in your post is much more consistent with the looks you like than either of the others. I can’t really figure out what white marshmallow cream is, but you either want to match that color or the background color in your counter material - what is the counter material? Then choose a shape that you like.

What I see in your inspiration images is white cabinets with bs tile that is cream, white, or grey. If you want alternatives, then order some tiles in cream and white, and try some other grays.

Hi! Can you share what you did for a backsplash? We are doing a similar kitchen - we are doing a quartz Countertop white with some gray with marshmallow cabinet and a gray island. I didn’t want stark white cabinets but this is tricky pairing things with the marshmallow. What paint did you do the walls in kitchen?
