I water her once the top two inches of her soil is dry and I keep her in front of an east-facing window. I run the humidifier pretty often as well, keeping the room at a humidity of 60-70%. I also mist throughout the day.

She only has one new, healthy growth and the rest are either stunted or growing very slowly and I can’t tell LOL are they not growing because of those dry edges?! :(

One of my Calathea’s was just infected with spider mites. I’ve since then isolated her but maybe it wasn’t soon enough, which means... could those issues be from spider mites?! I’ve inspected her soil pretty closely and I’ve only found a few baby gnats (yikes!) which I’ve since then sprayed a bit of neem oil solution on her soil. Haven’t found any sign of webbing either.

Please help!! I just want her to get better. Thank you!!

Thank you @floral_uk! I actually just found some baby gnats in her soil so I just watered her with some “Mosquito Bit” grains as well as sprayed some more neem oil on her soil surface. Waiting until she dries out completely to water w “Mosquito Bit” grains again and hopefully, that fixes her gnat issues!

I’ve since then found these little critters in her soil!!! They did not stick to the sticky tape themselves... I dug through the surface of the soil and lifted them out myself and stuck them to the sticky tape to inspect. Anyone know what they are?!? Thought she might have had fungus gnats or spider mites but now that I have a closer look, they don’t look like gnats or spiders?! They’re only in the soil and I haven’t seen anything crawling around the leaves or stems.

are you sure that not a spider mite? maybe you should consider changing the soil. Beautiful plant tho.

I am not sure :( could be... but their body shape tells me otherwise...? I’m so bad when it comes to pests
