I had to jog my memory a bit, but I remember my father used to get the Burpee Big Boy seeds or plants. They were so sweet and good!

My favorite tomato variety is Kellogg beefsteak. Last season I grew 40 tomato plants over 9 feet tall. I grow all my plants from seed. I sell my excess at local farmers markets. What is everyone's favorite tomato variety?

My favorite? I have to narrow it down to one? I'll be planting extra this year, I had planned to cut back but now I've got people who want to buy my extra garden vegetables, so I have 96 plants. I save seeds and start my own plants, except for the SunSugar which my grandson loves, that's a hybrid and so I have to buy seed for that.

My Mother's favorite is Great White and my daughter likes Golden Jubilee. I like Mortgage Lifters for slicing and in sandwiches, but SunSugar is nice for salads and snacks. Golden Jubilee is sweet and good and one of the most reliably prolific producers in my Northern Michigan garden. Pineapple is pretty and Rutgers is my canning tomato.

Nope, I can't pick a favorite...
