our basement has low ceiling and so I am trying to choose finishes of lighter shade.

my inspiration : yes and do not lough:

floor

For the bathroom : floor and wall will be white wood planks

vanity

floor

My problem is with the bar I want to have the front wall like the one in inspiration but what color cabinet shd I have in the back. Its a very low ceiling area with a soffit so I will have bottom cabinet with some shelves and looking for a back splash.

will this look good and what kind of shelves shd I do.

What you looking to do, you need a layout with dimensions, you have to know working ceiling height to work with, only then you can layout an area and the bar and see what works best.

The picture you showing is taken from some commercial place and you are dealing with a low ceiling basement so you can forget about doing the upper portion what you see in the picture and have to work with what you have.

If you want to do a 3D layout and visualization and see what works best, I can help you with that if you leave me a message on my profile page with your email I will get back to you and we can take it from there.

Good luck.
