We just purchased a new home and our #1 priority is to replace the existing flooring. We have a cat, 30 lb dog and a 14 month old (talking about #2 as well). Our preference would be engineered wood flooring as we love the warmth of hardwood, but we have a lot of concerns about durability and specifically dents and scratches. High heels just make me shiver at the thought of ruining new flooring. Looking for feedback, suggestions and experiences you can share. I've been looking into Duchateau and Provenza hardwood flooring.
