Hi. Been working on finishing up wood floors in my place. I asked a couple questions about it before.

I have pine floors. I chose to not stain them because I want them to be light. they are of course yellowish already with the sealer.

they will put oil based varnish on it soon. Or they said I can put a little bit of stain on it first. But because they are already yellow, i dont want to stain and get them darker, I want them to stay light.

(we can’t buy affordable water based varnish in the country I am in)

how much more yellow can I expect them to get as they age?
