Bedding Where From

Where are some good places to get bedding from? What does one look for in bedding? We upgraded to a king a couple of years ago and I really like the cozy bedding I got from Home Sense but I basically chose it on price point and not much else.

I'd like to get a nice set of basic sheets and then a duvet cover and pillows.

King sized bed.

We do live in Canada so would need to ship here. Hopefully spending $250 or less all in.

Make up that bed so I can see it all fixed up! Layer and fold girl!

Lol! You want me to put all on at once? I was going to just use the new spread and not the plain one...

But need to wash it all first..:

Oh girl layer it if you want that luxury look..fold down the big fluffy cream comforter at the end of the bed..fold the new duvet down just a bit at the top..than put your new shams up in the back and the cream shams in front that will give a really nice look...add accent pillows and wow it will look beautiful and keep your cream drapes..it will all blend together so nice,

The plan duvet would just be folded at the end of bed.

We only have one duvet insert. Two covers...

@Home Interiors with Ease for things above the night stand what is the recommended size? I just realized I got gift cards from families at end of school year and could use them. It isn't a lot but softens the cost.

I found 16x20 frames at Indigo? Is that big enough or no?

Also have a $25 for Amazon so could get a couple of prints to go in frames...

Will spend more on top of this if it is a good match. Will save if not.

Too small..you will need at least 24” wide and around 32” high...give or take

So what was the cream blanket I thought it was your duvet you had.?

It is our duvet cover. The cream linen is the first set we have. I just purchased a second set. Both are covers though not stand alone duvets/blankets.

This one..you would fold it and lay it across the lower end of the bed on top of the new bedding..mix together the cream shams and new shams for a layered style.than the cream panels will blend beautiful with the entire ensemble..

We don’t have a second insert. I think might look odd to have an empty cover on bed end?

Okay am I on the right track?

Yes you are getting close..if you have any old blanket to put in it..... just to give it a bit of lift and than fold it one more time and lay it across the bottom about a foot from end of bed...

That is one of my fav! How wide are your nightstands?

    24”

  • PRO

Ok so you can’t get anything larger than 24” diameter and you can hang them about 12” above the nightstands. I think target might have a round mirror with black frame around $60

We don’t have target in Canada

Oops...what Is your budget? I will see what I can find

For $150 total. I’m going to check Ikea and home sense this week

Okay I’ve thought it over and won’t keep the lamps. They can go to our guest room which is easy. But I don’t want them for our room.

So back to the drawing board! Looking for lamps and mirrors now.

Can you show me what would be good and I’ll patiently hunt!

Found these sets on Amazon..love the rectangle shade..they work great on nightstands because they can be pushed to the back of it leaving room for phone etc.

Prices are crazy high in Canadian. The top pair are $418. Bottom $213 each 😜😬
