Call your BM dealer. Ask for the owner and ask your question. He will have a vested interest in making you happy. My BM dealers have been great, very committed and knowledgeable.

Why would the Ben Moore store be of any assistance if the home owner doesn't like the color that an independent painting contractor painted?

That makes no sense.

Advance has a steep learning curve. My understanding is it needs to be sprayed to look cabinet quality.

Advance over BreakThrough should not be a problem.

I've never done it so it is a good idea to call BenM and verify. If the BT is semi gloss, you might want to knock it back with a sanding block first - ask the store about this too.

All the prep has been done so this is essentially a color change. You'll just need to make sure the surfaces are clean and dust free.
