It's normal for a tree to sulk a bit after a repotting and root pruning but yours looks good.

My lemon always has some leaf drop like that in May, even before I get around to repotting. I assume it is related to the change of seasons and acclimating to being outside again in the bright sunlight.

I don't have any answers for you Jeff, only empathy. I'm all too familiar with those dropped yellow leaves. Repotted mine on Tuesday and still waiting for it to perk out of it. Crossing my fingers that both our lemon trees turn around.

Any update Jeff? Has your tree turned around yet or still getting yellow/dropped leaves?

Not looking as bad or Yellow but no new growth. I repotted two others that seem to be doing much better. hopefully it will perk up soon!

Meyer lemon trees are very temperamental to changes. My New Zealand lemonade is not as temperamental but it has more problems than other citrus. I have often wondered if rootstock choice could dampen leaf loss.

Glad to hear the decline has stopped! I'm sure the new growth will come in time. My grapefruit is doing much better than my Meyer. I just have not found its magic formula of sun, food, and water yet.
