I would like to remove this ORB fan from my dining room. I've already taken off the dark shade (frosted yellow-y) so my son can do work with better light. But I think what I really want is a chandelier, b/c this room is nice and breezy with ample air coming from the window and the large living room windows, and I don't like air blowing on our food. The sideboard and hutch are navy with some muted gold details. The sunroom off this room is painted Hale Navy and the this and the other rooms near are colors like Revere Pewter and other muted taupey grays. My taste is traditional. I think I would like to stay in warm tones, like muted brass, bronze, gold. In addition to what you think would look nice, I need advice regarding placement. The fan is centered to the room but is off-center for where we have the table. I'm willing to move the electric, but I wonder if a swag would look ok. The previous owners used this as a TV room so the centered fan looked fine. Thanks for any suggestions!
