Help with Kitchen and first floor color!

I have attached some photos of where we are trying to paint/update

.

I want to paint all of the yellow/red colors you see on the walls. I am wanting to do a grey/beige or white/off white color but just do not know what would look good with our kitchen cabinets, backsplash, and granite. I am not planning on painting the cabinets or changing the backsplash or countertops but feel it looks dated especially with the colors on the wall.

I was thinking that whatever color I choose I want to do it throughout the hallways upstairs as well as all the rooms downstairs. What are your thoughts?

We just painted our master bedroom and bathroom agreeable grey by Sherwin Williams. I am planning on putting it on the walls to see if it would be a good color. I have been doing a lot of research on colors but cannot make a decision. I am thinking agreeable grey is too grey for down here and am thinking Zurich White by Sherwin Willi.

We painted the guest bathroom and bedroom with kitting needles and zircon I believe which are more true greys. I am thinking with the oak cabinets and dark granite I need something greige/ white to not make the cabinets stand out anymore.

I definitely like more of a light and airy look and REALLY HOPING to brighten it up! After we choose a paint color I am hoping to replace the kitchen table and get new light fixtures throughout the house as well. I am also hoping to get new decor as well and get rid of anything that has red, gold, beige, dark undertones.

For colors I have been looking at:

Agreeable Gray

White Heron

Heron Plume

Swiss Coffee

Zurich white --> I am leaning more towards this color. I really like it and think it could be neutral.

Soft Chamois (Benjamin Moore)

Edgecomb Gray

Balboa Mist

I have attached photos for you to see the spaces I am talking about.

These pictures are the upstairs hallway, it doesn't get any natural light unless the doors are opened and we have a puppy so we cant keep the doors open right now.

This is standing on the landing of the stairs, and as you walk in the front door. I am planning on painting this shelf white.

This is the main living area where we spend the majority of our time along with the kitchen.

We do a lot of hosting and I'm struggling with what types of seating would be best.

Through the hallway on the right-hand side is another bathroom and living area.

I'm also thinking about whitewashing this brick fireplace but haven't fully decided on that yet. It's one of the last things on my list.

Close up of the backsplash.

I am appreciative of any advice or thoughts you have to offer!
