Yes, get a very close match. SW Alabaster in our house reads chalky and hard to match. See the thread elsewhere nearby on whites, and check out the helpful wheel color tool. I found that BM Simply White was a very nice match for Daltile 001 white. That’s the # IIRC. Not the bright white, which I believe is called Arctic White. Good luck!

IMO you need to consider the counter before the cabinet color when choosing backsplash and I would strongly advise against really dark grout but without knowing your counter I have no idea. BTW even if you could find the exact color of your cabinets the tile would look different You take a cibinet door to the paint store then you bring home a sample can and see it in your space which hopefully has LED lighting in 4000K
