Don't know anything about that brand, but I have done a fair amount of sink research for our own bathroom updates, and I'd stay away from Whitehaus (we purchased 2 sinks and they were a bear to install without adequate drain accessories provided by the manufacturer). Toto is a terrific brand and could be counted on to drain well and wear long with the finish. I have a few Toto sinks in my bookmarks for the next purchase for our remaining bathroom renovation.

It's such an uncommon product you may not get much response. An owner of the Kohler Kathryn sink really blasted in on Home Depot because of the draining problem you mentioned. If you wanted to be risk-averse you could get the Kohler Ladena which is about the same size but is shaped differently and wouldn't have a drainage problem. People on Home Depot and Build really like it.
