I would center the table in the space under the picture and remove the armless chairs (or at lease move it closer to the center). It would look better with a longer table, if someday you could replace yours. You could add a buffet or console at one end, or a narrow china type cabinet on the short wall or next to the table where the chairs are now.

Make it feel like a dining space vs a walk through. I would remove what you have and consider a banquette and table along wall to allow for flow and be sure to coordinate look with living room. Doesn’t have to be a built in and you could use an armless settee or bench

You could add a serving cart on wall with thermostat, which will fill that area but also be handy.

If possible, would also replace the console, to work with other two rooms‘ modern style

Divider screens can be a nice decorating tool, and very useful at times, too.

I could see some type of folding divider screen in the left corner, where two chairs are now.

Would bring in height, visual interest, and balance to the arrangement - with your table being on right hand corner side.

And I think a round dining table would be nice.

Although, the one you have currently is nice, as well. You really don’t need to replace it, unless you just want something new in the space.

It looks pretty useless. Storage is a good option for most households. Invest in a system to hold a lot of stuff behind doors with display on top. Perhaps the same brand as your TV credenza would be the best. Keep it slender enough for the two slipper chairs to sit in front of it and use the area as a reading nook, Or place the two chairs facing each other with a low chess/game table between them. The art could go on the opposite wall or over the entry table. A piece less than 75% of the table's width would look better there. Does the mirror reflect anything beautiful or interesting? Maybe hang it vertically. I'm not a fan of bistro height dining sets. They are OK for man caves or bar areas, but are uncomfortable for most and difficult for the older and younger folks to get into the seats.

I would create some sitting area with console and wall art for this wall, something like this

The real problem is that this room doesn’t appear to have any appeal as a living space...there are no windows...and it is hard to tell if any walls could be removed to enlarge the surrounding spaces...so the two things that come to mind to me are storage and/or maybe a little library/gallery feel ...with bookshelves and wall art and a little desk perhaps...
