Mystery herb growing

I found this plant in my overgrown perennial bed in Vermont. It's growing near lemon balm, so I believe it's an herb. The leaves are fragrant and smell a lot like oregano with a tiny hint of something more medicinal. I looked up varieties of oregano, but couldn't seem to place this plant. Any ideas? Thanks!
