Looks like some sort of elm to me.

Like L Clark says, elm, but hard to tell the species. Are there Siberian elms around?

I think you guys are right. In looking at what's available on line for identifying elm trees, it definitely looks it could be one. I really can't distinguish if it is a Chinese or Siberian variety. Thank you guys for your responces. Much appreciated. :)

Siberian elm have much smaller leaves, maybe 1-1/2" long, tops. The bark isn't right for SE either.
