Rain had stopped yesterday, but last night, it rained all night into early morning. Not good. Here it is peak and Houzz puts my post in the wrong place entirely, and today the rain is a crusher;

Well, everything had brrn going so smoothly Sherry, it couldn't last. Debra, I have had it Sugar Magonia for two years and it finally bloomed. Two Sues was a late one form me, last fall and it has done quite well for its first year. EITV is a favorite. Sherry, I am sure you will enjoy both of those.

You have some of my favorites blooming today. Ruby Lipstick looks grand, Two Sues makes a pretty foursome, and Entwined in the Vine is a triple delight. I didn't know you added Sugar Magnolia. I adore that one! Flight of Orchids is so striking! Great post all around, despite the rain.

I’ve been waiting to see your Entwined in the Vine and Two Sues. They’ve been added this spring so you know I like them. Houzz did an update a day or so ago, things are usually wonky for a bit after that.

Even with rain, these are lovely! You know I love EITV and seeing yours open I know mine is sure to follow. And Flight of Orchids looks wonderful. Could your noid be Carnival in Mexico? Looks a lot like mine. By the way your garden shots in the misplaced post were lovely!!

I really like Two Sues, mine has scapes. This is the 2nd year for it, but I had to move it this spring because of the deck, so it may not be so great. Flight of Orchids looks really pretty too.

Kate, you are right...the label was next to the wrong plant; that wrong plant will be leaving this year. And you know your EITV can't be far behind. I had wanted Flight of Orchids, so I am happy to have it and it did very well for first blooms in the rain. That misplaced post was another of Houzz's NOT finest moments. Thanks you for looking and commenting.

Nancy, this is Two Sue's first year and it is doing fine. Yours may surprise you.
