Color smart, proportion stupid

Hello! Funny, that hello autocorrected to help, which is just what I need.

I found, after months, the perfect white (I tested 14) to complement my pine trim (which I have been forbidden to paint ever in the delicate remodeling negotiations with my spouse, which required all the skills I have as a couples therapist.) It is hard to judge by this light, but Simply White is simply lovely.

However, here is a shot of the south wall from the bed on the north wall (windows to east). I am painting the dresser and makeup table and I've got good color for that.

But the walls. So blank. The bed wall is easy - I have a large piece to put over it - but how do I scale art for this wall? I'm horrible at spatial reasoning and struggle with proportion.

Any and all ideas welcome.
