Decor is different than ”functional” . I might call a grout specialist and redo the grout between tiles to match tiles. Decor can be floor mats window treatment countertop accessories. “ functional” : means do you want to change locations and redo cabinets appliances and traffic flow ?

What colors would you like to add to the room? You could get an apothecary jar and fill it with a colorful vase filler.

Is your current budget for a few cosmetic changes or are you planning to change the floor plan with all new cabinets etc. ? Or something in between?

I used to have a dysfunctional corner sink. It led me to believe that using the words "dysfunctional" and "corner sink" together was redundant.

If there's any chance you can rearrange your base cabinets (which of course involves more than just the cabinets - counters, backsplash, etc.), getting the sink out of the corner might be a better option in the long term.
