Bought an older house and started working on the deck project two summers ago and now starting over again. I power washed the the two outside decks and middle screened porch. I bought two gallons of Cabot semi transparent stain in Dove gray and rolled on outer decks. It looked very splotchy and rough. It also did not cover 1/2 of area it was supposed to cover. I called company and their technical support hung up on me. I have the middle section to do and a huge lower deck to do. I am looking for advice on how to proceed with a good long term product for screened porch with weather issues around edge and how to fix the outer decks and select a good product to finish the lower deck.
