There are so many, and only a few have easily distinguished traits which I don't catch in your picture. But if I can make a recommendation, use the WayBack Machine to look through Vintage Gardens' listing of Moss roses, then look them up on HelpMeFind.

Below is a snapshot of the website taken April 20, 2013. If you hover the mouse over the roses' names, you'll see a general description pop up. Disregard anything that's not pink, and search their names on HMF.

Another way is to do an advanced search on HMF for pink Mosses released before 1900, but doing that will bring up many that weren't available in the US recently.

Oh, I just thought of another way. Go to HMF, search under Gardens, and look up The Friends of Vintage Roses. With a paid HMF membership, you can sort their inventory by class. Go through the Mosses on there.

I appreciate the suggestions--I didn't realize there were so many pink moss roses. I think it is probably impossible to identify this one from looking at photographs. Nevertheless, I have taken pictures of a mossy hip that is forming--moss is reddish brown.

It's hard to tell from the pictures above but it looks a bit like Baron de Wassenaër, which I have found in my area of NE Pennsylvania.
