Look on the bottom of the leaves for tiny redish-brown dots as well as webbing. I had spider mites attack my miniature rose early on this year, but a neem oil application got rid of them. Repeat application after a week or if it rains.

I tried looking underneath the leaves, but I don't think I saw mites? Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. Will have to go check it again tomorrow.

Unfortunately I don't think I can find neem oil for garden use in Canada....and I can't cross the border right now other I'd just drive over to buy some!

look at the newer leaf.. at 3 oclock.. and any newer ones that emerge.. if they show no further damage.. then i would relate it all to transplant shock ...

in cool weather.. it can take a bit of time.. for said stress to actually appear.. because perhaps it is so minimal ...

give them another week.. before you start spraying goos on them ... lets see what happens ..

btw: the cool temps. might rule out the little suckers ... especially the low night temps .. i wouldnt expect bug populations to explode yet ...

I see no evidence of spider mites. They become a problem in the hotter weather, if at all.

We had a lot of rain last night with some fairly strong wind.....it did a number to some of my plants. The yellowing seem to be getting worse...

The newest leave in the middle seems to be unaffected still. This is only happening to my yellow zucchini plants, not affected my gem squash or cucumber (although my cucumber plant I purchased as a seedling rather than starting from seed, and transplanted only a week ago). Is this still likely part of the transplant shock process? The yellowing is just a bit worrisome, but I don't want to get too stressed out if it is still just transplant shock...
