Except for the Forget-me-not they are weeds. Some might disagree but I adore Forget-me-not and let it seed about with gay abandon. They are a biennial and extremely easy to pull if they get into the wrong spot.

These are all weeds.

The top is shotweed, Cardamine hirsuta. And they've got a full head of ripe seed, so you'll be seeing a lot more of those this fall!

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at in the middle, but I don't see anything of value. In my book it's all weeds.

The last looks like a mullein, maybe Verbascum thapsus.

Thanks again! Yeah, although I have been pretty bad about maintaining my lawn, the first one took over my lawn seemingly out of nowhere. What’s the best way to get rid of them? Is pulling them out an option or is it a losing battle?

The second one I guess I am pointing out what looks like moss, but thank you for identifying the other weeds.

Pulling them is easy, especially after a rain. But it should have been done weeks ago. It's impossible to pull them now without dispersing their seeds everywhere. The slightest touch will send them flying, which is how they got that common name. And the cardamine (aka bittercress) is a cool season annual weed, so many of those flung seeds are likely to generate a whole new crop of weeds this fall and the rest next spring.

The ‘moss’ is in fact moss. There’s also Oxalis in several of the pictures. Three leaves.

If this is your lawn you could start by simply mowing it. Letting it go has encouraged these plants to seed. At least then you’ll have something low and green. Several of your weeds won’t do well if regularly mown And at least you’ll be removing the flowers so they don’t seed more.
