No engineered stone should be described as "indestructible". It all burns from a hot pot.

My daughter had MSI Fantasy Grey Quartz installed just over 1 year ago. She loves it and has had no issues with it. Here are a couple close up pictures of it. The pencil in the second picture is pointing to the seam in her island that is over 10 feet long.

We have vicenza in our master bath and it has been perfectly fine for 3 years. Not a kitchen though....

Here's the kitchen we have that I posted a few years back. MSI Quartz Carrarra Grigio has held up really really well. Cleans easily, no stains, no fuss. We just use a damp cloth, and clean up with an all purpose cleaner. Once in a while, maybe some diluted bleach.

No quartz is indestructible, but the good ones are reasonably resiliant and easy maintenance and while I'm not an expert, I think MSI is decent quality. Just use trivets under hot pots, slow cookers and rice cookers.

I use MSI all the time. With no issues. Whatsoever.

I believe that kitchen is white, Amy ........( trick of the cool lighting ) Look at the handle side of the island and above fridge. Or you mean that little slice of wall in the photo : )

Amy...yep Jan is right....that photo is Shiloh Polar White Paint. Shiloh's ARCTIC white is their whitest white. Polar is the next one in line...and is a tad off-white.

I have caracatta laza too. In my kitchen. I had Absolutely no problems.
