Slippery pavers when wet after sealing. Please help.

Hi, the folks that sealed our pavers seemed professional and did a good job. We have Cambridge pavers and went with the recommended brand on their site- alliance gator oil based satin. two coats were applied. We were told the pavers would not be slippery. But it turns out that when the pavers are wet, they are slippery and at times seem very slippery. Our four year old who was able to freely run in the backyard has now fell pretty hard a few times. We have not reached out to the gentleman that did the work yet.

Is this normal? Was this expected because we were told and promised this wouldn’t happen. This was a huge concern for us. We waited 2 years before sealing out pavers. They were cleaned before sealing. if this is normal, how long does this usually last? What is a quick solution other thman laying mats around the pool area of course.

thank you for the help.
