I think you are on the right path to curb appeal.

I wouldn't add the false dormers as you have a low slope roof and dormers will accentuate it's slope. If you were going to do any of those type of changes, a larger portico to make a nice size front porch would work.

Great idea about beefing up the porch columns.

Landscaping will be a huge help. Post your question in the landscape forum here on houzz for ideas.

Consider large address numbers over the garage in a readable font.

I don't think you need rock or brick on the face of your home. Great landscaping will work wonders. Bringing the walkway straight out like you plan to do will help.

Increase the size of your coach lights next to the garage door and the front door to double the current size or more.

I like all of those ideas. A false gable like this one would add some Architectural character. Might also consider shutters on the smaller windows

I would consider larger windows, particularly those on the left. Here's a house that underwent an exterior reno as well, looks like it could have been like yours before.

Love what they've done with the peak over the garage here.

When you say "bottom half" are talking about just below the windows? What are the 2 siding material now? I would work on the house and hardscape before adding any plant materials. Add steps off the front of the porch and w walk to the street

@jck910 the top material is siding and the bottom is stucco. It’s kind of weird looking in my opinion .

Sorry it is crude but I'd widen the porch and use an open gable with trim and big square posts. You need lantern lights 1/3 the height of the door and use the same at the garage. I think using a two-tone paint scheme will do a lot for your home.

Gable design option - yours will be at a much lower pitch.

Your home doesn't need rock or brick, it needs some additional windows added which will be less expensive and add more to the value of your home.
