help for a kitchen/eating area floor

I want to have both ceramic tile and hardwood floors in my kitchen and eating area. I have an island in my kitchen and a door leading to my deck in eating area. It is all one big room as well as my gathering room. Any suggestions how to make this work

Why not just do hardwood throughout? Or, alternatively, you can do a ceramic tile that looks like hardwood throughout.

I was trying to come up with something that might be different. I have seen the combination of the two but only in small areas. I thought ceramic would be more durable under my stools at the island and under the eating table,
