We've moved into our new house and are loving it, but we need to find a rug for under our grand piano to help bring down the sound a bit. That said, I also don't want it to look odd, especially with the larger area rug right next to it. I'm leaning toward something asymetrical, or perhaps oval or round (though those two feel like they're perhaps too cottage-y for this space?) Maybe a faux hide rug? I'd love thoughts/ideas/suggestions!
