You can't make a decision with plastic shrink-wrap covering the tile samples!

Haha! When I took the penny tile out of the wrap, it wouldn’t stand up! All of the colors/shades are fine, I’m having a hard time with the pattern. I’m going to use white grout, so it’s hard for me to picture. I think I’m favoring the white penny or the small subway, to keep it classic/farmhouse. Anyone?

Just my opinion but I don't like the penny rounds ( too much grout) and ogee drop tile (a bit too dressy for a Farmhouse look). My favorite is the elongated hex, as it is interesting but unpretentious. The other two are fine if you want an unassuming backsplash. Solid, safe, unexciting.

Subway for farmhouse and to coordinate best with your counters. Either one you chose will work.

I also don't care for the penny rounds there. I like the subway tile and what I used to call hive but now thank you Cawaps- it's elongated hex. I like those a lot.

I like the 6-sided subway tile (ah, I see it's called elongated hex) -- a little more oomph than plain subway tile, but not overwhelming or out of place with the rest of the area.

If it’s just for this area, have you considered using your counter material? It is particularly pretty in this type of installation.

Have we helped at all? Of the tiles you showed us the two NOs for me are the penny rounds and the 3” x 6” (it’s the wrong color from what I can see). I really like the elongated hex.

What are the dimensions for the long subway tiles? They look great!

3x9 - it was a better color match. I liked the elongated hex, but played it safe (and my husband didn’t like it as well).

And yes - this forum was helpful -> no to penny round and subway goes with the look.

Looks great I have same color cabinets and trying to decide my quartz and color backsplash, I want white quartz too, but can’t decide on white subway tiles or light grey for backsplash. Your picture helps!

I looked for a quartz that had veining that went to greige/warm, rather than a cool grey (island pic for reference).
