First Time Home Owner - Patio Maintenance Question

This January we bought our first home and now that we are quite settled into house, we realize that we hardly know anything about that comes with home ownership.
We have small backyard with 50% deck and rest with pavers. I dont think im ready to deal with the deck, so starting with the paved part.

We live in PNW where it is constantly raining. I have attached some pictures of the current state of the patio. Pls let me know what are the steps required in getting it to look clean and ready for summer. I see some weeds growing in between two slabs and algae.

We don't own many tools yet. So if there are any that we should be having, do let us know.

The best way to clean concrete is a pressure washer. You can rent one for a day for around $50 from rental centers as well as home improvement stores. You don't need the most powerful model, just one that will remove accumulated dirt and algae.

As to your deck, when you get ready to tackle it, here is a SITE with lots of info. Across the top are categories on product reviews, as well as info on stripping, cleaning, and staining.

Do i need to put anything like sand or something in the gaps between the 2 pavers? The pavers also don't seem to be level around the corners.

The pavers look pretty tight to me....if you can brush sand between, then do so....but doesn't look necessary to me.
Also straight clorox out of the bottle brushed around will go a long way to clean it up....that and as tiff spray from the hose and a brush/push broom.
