I planted seeds of 'Sahara' Rudbeckia last year, and these are the first two to open. I like the plants, and while I don't do annuals (or biennials much), I might have to collect seeds and put them around.

Beautiful, mxk3, especially in the blue pots! I haven't heard of either Denver Daisy or Sahara, although the Denver Daisy reminds me of one I grew a few years back. And talk about dangerous - I just did a quick search to see if I could find the one I grew and now I see several I may just have to try!

I adore rudbeckias, and often grow several varieties as annuals - I did even more when I was selling bouquets at the farmer's market. But now I try to restrain myself lol. And this year I really cut it back, only doing two varieties - my very, very favorite, Indian Summer, and also Chim Chiminee mix. I'm not as hot on the color variety in the CC mix, but I love the quilled petals.

And I always try to have triloba in my garden. I haven't bought seed in years but noticed last year it had stopped reseeding for me so I seeded some more this year. I adore the little blooms and they are very long-lasting and such a nice filler in my yellow/orange/red garden.

Alright, now I have to go back to my search results and make a list for next season!

Yeah, I started some triloba seeds a few years ago and I'm pretty sure I'll never be without it again. The lawn would be gone if I stopped mowing it (lol)..but I like it.
