I don’t mean to knit pick but I don’t like these marks from the nails. Everything else in the kitchen is beautiful except for these marks on the panel ends. I’m going to have to order new panels and have them put on from the inside.

can anyone tell me what type/size screw will use from the inside?

Why didn't you discuss with your do it your self mate? Or get a PRO installer where this iis a non issue? Or even say..........lets Google how to do this before we NAIL. Because u need a very short screw : )

"Finish nails" are not for a FINISHED end panel. They are fine where you can spackle and paint.

Thank you for all of your help. He said he knew what he was doing and I trusted him because he’s done wonderful work until now. In his defense I think he was trying to hide the nail in the dark crease on the panel.

I will just have to order new panels and replace them.

Assuming the sides of the cabinets are 3/4” use a 1 1/4” screw but make sure to get into the thick part of the door not the panel.
