Quartz countertop too short

I just paid nearly 6000 in full prior to installation (never again) of new quartz countertops. Onepiece was templated wrong and is about 3 inches too short at the wall and it is a corner piece.

See photos. The company wants to glue on a piece there. There is nothing under it to hold a 3 inch piece to the rest of the counter. They also forgot one piece of counter that was paid for. Should I ask for part of my money back or have them take out the half of the counter and redo it correctly?

It's supposed to wrap that corner? Can you show us a fuller view?

How did you pay? If on a credit card, you'd probably have reason to launch a dispute - they didn't deliver what you paid for. That's assuming you have a contract with the terms spelled out.

No adding a piece onto engineered stone. Nonstarter.

If the sink is in the run, they may be able to install an apron front sink with two inconspicuous seams in the rear which would stretch the piece by three feet.

DO OVER. Or an attorney. Were you PRESENT for the template?? Given it was supposed to wrap the corner. Did you sign off on a laser template? Did anyone?....

Do over and shame on you for paying for a job not done. Now pray you paid with a credit card and no to sticking a piece on anywhere. New counter cut right is the solution,. So many things got missed in the beginning. I see a big battle in your future so it might be good the get a lawyer just in case.

Ask them to take out that section of the counter and do it correctly.......no gluing bits on.

How was this fixed? This just happened to us and they are coming tomorrow to see how to fix it. They dont want a redo!
