The window pane mirror is nice, but from an Eastern Feng Shui perspective fragmented mirrors are not the best. Also, I think art may be better there. I would suggest finding a vertical piece of art that you love and a piece that fits that spot. Etsy.com is a good resource for art, all kinds including original paintings.

Also, I would suggest replacing the fan with a more updated/streamlined fan, or bring in a nice light fixture on a dimmer.

Blinds are totally a utilitarian look. I agree they make the windows so unfinished. The no casing look adds to the streamlined affect but a bit of softness wouldn't hurt. I see you have one panel hung to the left of the TV. Is there a matching set to the right? Why didn't you continue with all the windows? I wonder what a wall of panels would look like, tied back. The blinds are all shut. Do you need them to be for privacy/light control? Ceiling fans are a fabulous thing, but you could find prettier light attachment.

The windows seem bare because they ARE bare except for one single drapery panel in the corner. Are the blinds closed all the time? Is there a view outside? Are you in love with the arched “window” mirror? You could hang ceiling-to-floor drapes (in a print fabric) to cover all of the windows. Fabric adds texture and the print will add some color to an otherwise beige-gray room. Hang art where the window-mirror is.

Any options to replace the sectional? Your furniture should not dictate your room. Regular size sofa and complimentary chairs allow more flexibility.

Can you get more of that drapery panel you already have? The colors work with your sofa pillows, or you could switch all of it out for a new colorway (plum/silver, lemon/lime, teal/white. A combination of panels and faux roman shades in the same fabric will work here. You can use interior mounted fiber shades under them it you need light control/privacy. Remove the crates a slide the sofa to align better with the windows. Wall mount TV on an articulated arm so it can be adjusted for best viewing from all seats.

Hi April. What a cozy room you have, but I agree your windows could use a bit of love.

I would suggest still keeping things simple, but fun, like patterned flat panel drapery, still in a neutral so they stand out as interesting without being too bold. Below are some examples.

I feel a solid color on the window, plus curtains to the ground would become too heavy in this room because you have so many windows, a good sized and a sofa, and pets as well (more dusting the bottoms of your curtains from hair).

I like the idea of a mirror in the center, a round startburst may work well, or you could try a couple small shelves for a plant or two.
