its a dwarf alberta spruce ... picea glauca conica ...

just get rid of it .... and never buy another one ... they have all kinds of problems.. even though they are ubiquitous at big box .. not only spider mites.. but winter damage issues ...

find some other plant.. or conifer.. remove this one.. mother earth net zero ...

they are not children.. you can get rid of problems.. lol .. especially problems left by a prior owner ...

the cost of controlling it.. including your time and effort is not reasonable.... imo ...

even if one of the ways to control mites is blasting them with water ... you are still left with an ugly conifer.. than might look good in 3 to 5 years.. in our short growing season ...

And you're ok thinking that it is a pine. The pine family, Pinaceae, is by far the largest family of conifers. And spruces, Picea, are members of the pine family.

Spider mites love it hot and dry. A blast of water every week to 10 days offers some control.
