If you do add a color panel to the bottom of your curtains, be sure you shorten them to avoid puddling. I’m not sure that I would have green curtains next to a purple sofa, but the art panels do help to unite the colors.

Hi Feliz, thanks for your advice. I live in the Middle East and we don’t have the same variety as the US. The green curtains are due to very limited choices. The purple couch unfortunately came with the rental.

I'd leave them as is--they frame the windows, are at a good length and hang very nicely. Use your $$$ on another project!

Easier to get a new rug and take it with you to another rental or home. Celerygirl is on target here.

My work room is never successfully executed that plan overtime Fabric always stretches and keeping those lines perfectly horizontal never works save your money and get a new rug.
