You would have had to color the cement before it was poured. Do you have pictures?

Reading more about cement, I discovered that the ph level is very high when it is first poured and it's best not to do anything to it until the ph level lowers. So I've got to wait at least a year from now. I guess in the meantime I'll just get some colored chalk and play hopscotch :-)

Your patio is made of concrete. Cement is an ingredient of concrete that is mixed with water and aggregate (gravel) to make concrete. Color is added to concrete by mixing coloring pigment with the water before mixing it with cement and aggregate.
