Table lamp or hanging pendant lamp? Above the bed or above the table only?

hanging for sure and like the idea of over the table. great idea. do you currently have a center light in the room? I would say more than one lighting source is needed.

can you move the bed to the left some more so there is a little more room on the right for a walking path? bed can go tighter to the side table.

Hey all. Just checking in. I’ve been really trying to get this wall mural going but it’s just too expensive or too damaging. One of the site suggested above has beautiful (affordable) murals but requires paste to adhere them. I just fear for the removal process down the line. Is there an alternative to paste? If not then what are my other options here. I officially now have the coral bedding and Moana Heart of Te Fiti accent pillow and the hanging lamp (I diy’d) above the night stand. There isn’t a dresser in there yet so wallpaper on the dresser drawers won’t work yet. I thought about hanging these up or making my own with stems from Michaels glued to canvas. What are you’re thoughts or ideas?

the only other thought would be a peal and stick option in a wallpaper. the art is definitely an option.

Ideas:

• Botanical peel and stick on the dresser when I get one
• 3 Tiki torches in the left corner behind the bed

Try moving them closer together... I like between 1"-4" of space separating a grouping of art. :-)

I like the peel and stick on the dresser and the tiki torch idea. I would try really really large frames that way they will take up more space and then no need for anything more on that wall

So I’m still leaning towards Moanas oar above the canvases. I want something with tribal print in here. Maybe a beige throw with the print? I feel like I need more elements here. Here’s an updated pic. When I find frames I can update the canvases.

I missing the flower in her hair. It’s a Plumeria flower but I wonder if pink leis will suffice. But not sure where either.

I think that it could start to get too themey? love the bedding, maybe leave it as is, maybe put a wallpaper boarder around the the palms art that make the art bigger, use the wallpaper that you will use for the dresser drawers. you would have a double boarder. instead of adding more. wonder if you could do something more with the tiki torches that you have in the corner. could you somehow attach to the corner of the headboard? not sure how, but it could show them off a bit more perhaps?

Maybe attach them to the back with Velcro. And ok on the wallpaper. Should the wallpaper go on the closet door too?

I bought a mural. It was cheap. I’m trashing the canvases. I just wasn’t satisfied with them. So this is the mural on the way. It won’t fill the whole wall but about 90% of it. So I’ll just center it.

Putting this mural on was tough. It was not peel and stick as I’d hoped. Required lots of water. I ended up just using some double sided tape In certain areas but you can see the lines really well which sucks. And I measured wrong. Tried to center the mural but there is a whole foot left on the right side of the room. I still want to hang leis on the left side of headboard. Anything else you see here?

OMG, the mural is the BOMB. it looks fantastic, room doesn't need anything more, looks great with the sheers on the window and love it with the duvet color. do you love it!!!!

I’m mostly in love lol. I have to figure out how to smooth the edges on the mural. The lines bother me. Lol

don't think the torches are necessary, they don't really make a statement IMO

Double sided tape...? Do the Command Strip 3M folks make something that can adhere to walls *and* fabric? Anyone know?

Depending on the mural material a hairdryer might help with the creases.
