Spray inside the drain pipe with bleach, wait 30 minutes, rinse with water.

thank you krissie! ill try that. im going to have to run the washing machine bc there is water sitting at the bottom of the pipe with baking soda which bleach and vinegar make toxic gas. this whole thing is a pain.

You need to start doing washes with 60C or above hot water. Run some towels on sanitize at least once every couple days. Your mold issues will go away.
