I think any shade of blue will be an improvement.

just search blue board and batten houses. (will give you an idea)

you could do bronze or black windows.

or do a dark navy or even a Wrought Iron charcoal color. white windows

but what if we kept our roof color? brown/red? so you agree with me the brown gotta go? anyone else?

do you plan on changing the roof? if so, absolutely do a gray of some sort. Metal roof would be ideal for the look of your house.

if you must keep the brown red, (and have no plans on ever changing it) then work w/colors that compliment brown/red. that usually means no blue/gray colors

I agree with Beth regarding a gray roof working best with blue siding. With the exception of the light roof, the roofs in Beth's examples are gray or black.

I would definitely not keep the brown siding. Lots of choices to bring more life to it. It looks like a great house and pretty setting.

i have seen a coupple pics with brown roof and blue but not sure if had reddish tones like mine. roof would have to come later when it needed replacing. I just really cant picture it on my eaxact house though. I see other homes but they are a different shape and have other details. Uggg so hard and too expensive to hate later. Even painting some of it doesnt help. Its like getting a haircut, you ont know if you love it until its been styled and done lol

The reddish tone in the roof just makes the blues not work for me. I'm not good with mockups, but would you consider a smokey or gray/green? That can work better with your roof color IMO.

LOL...I agree about a haircut. It can be a real PITA when not right. Just not quite the investment.

I agree with chloebud- if you did a green tone, even a green blue color, you could keep the brown roof. White trim and white windows will work with green-blue.
