The Fabral SSR series states a minimum of 1:12 if you can get Fabral in your area.

There are usually regional metal panel suppliers. But your roof is essentially flat and is thus not suitable for metal roofing panels.

Issue will be is finding someone who has it in stock. No one will order that quantity for you as the manufacturer will not run one or two pieces either.

The roof looks a bit more flat in the initial photo because of the angle from which it was taken. These two are from the side and rear of the porch. Sorry you don’t like the style, Joseph. We’re trying to modernize the exterior a bit.

Is that a single 2x6 for the beam? A little light if it is. It is true you'll need a hemming tool for the eave. It's $50. You could get a sheet metal shop to bend the rake trim. The rest is careful tin snip work. Can you see this roof from anywhere? Maybe a TPO or EPDM rubber roof would work. You can buy on-line.

Yes it’s a 2x6- what would you recommend instead? The roof will be viewable from the side walkway, so would like to use something aesthetically pleasing.

That's typical for many DIY projects, and often what makes them an obvious DIY job, along with poor design decisions.

I see construction grade materials -- materials intended to be covered, used as final finish, like the trim around the door. The columns would be better used to support a backyard deck.

I'm guessing this is being done without a permit as well.

As for your question about roofing, consider a product that uses concealed fasteners as they will be far more DIY friendly than a true standing seam roof.

If you have no snow load, and span is 10 feet, width of roof is 6 feet, you'll need two 2x6.

Great! Attention to detail is a must. Follow the manufacturer's details. If that's a solid brick wall, you'll have to either cut in a reglet at a mortar joint or apply a surface mounted flashing that caulks in place. Use polyurethane caulk.
