Mine are drooping too, after they got hammered by a thunderstorm last week. I'd say just leave them be; the flower is too heavy for the stalk right now.

it means.. during the heat of the day in sun.. they dont have enough water to suck up thru the roots to kepp proper turgidity ... interior water pressure ...

but once the sun goes away.. and the heat starts to wain .. then they can get pumping and recover.. until the next days onslaught ...

you had the answer right along.. and now you know why .. good powers of observation ... now use your powers for good instead of evil ...

put the hose on trickle .. and water them deeply ... into the root zone ...

it might be because this was a new transplant... as compared to maybe the plant to the right.. that is more established.. so you are not seeing the same problem .... in other words.. it didnt get fully established before the heat hit ...

welcome to the forums... if you come back often.. include your location.. it usually helps .. big city name ... e.g. if you said you were in MI.. i would have suggested the week of 100 degree temps was part of the problem... etc ...
