door topper advice

Advice please: doing door toppers in basement. Is 6 feet to tall for a door topper if the trim is 3 1/2? The baseboard is 5 1/4. I’m concerned it might look massive and have not had the opportunity to measure in other homes (I.e., parade, etc) and can’t find anything online. Advice designers?
Pics: left pic is the look I am going for. Right is the trim and baseboard- simple.
