Paint or not paint the walls or the cabinets? Not sure what you're asking.

I would not paint the cabinets. It would cost thousands of dollars to have done professionally. Do paint the ceiling when you do the walls, it will freshen the room .

The cabinets are lovely, I would not paint them.

If you're going for a farmhouse/beach feel then you should paint your cabinets. How light and bright.

After sleeping on it ... I was having a hard time imagining the cabinets painted. I'm glad most of you agree that they should not be painted. I am going to paint the walls. I am thinking of simply white by BM.

Good, simply white is perfect. You can always paint, but very hard to un-paint.

P Banos do you think it would be crazy to paint the trim, walls, and ceilings simply white by BM?

I am considering doing the trim in semi-gloss, the walls in matte, and the ceilings in BM's ceiling paint (flat).

Maybe I could switch out the walls in a more creamy color??

I think the cabinets are beautiful and I would not paint them! I think a warm white on the wall will look really nice with the wood. Hope you'll share pictures when you're done. I love wood cabinets and I love seeing kitchens with them.

Glad you are not painting cabinets, kitchen will look lovely painted an off white. I’d be inclined to take off lip of countertop and do a white subway tile
