Laundry room sink placement

We are remodelling our Laundry room. The sink has been install it just doesn’t look right pushed into the corner. We can make around 8” around it. Ideas please to make this look right. I can move it to another wall as all plumbing is already in.

I like it there any spacing would require some sort of counter which IMO would look very bad.

probably the easiest thing to do is bump in the wall behind the sink to about 6-8" above the height of the cabinet. Then centre the cabinet on the bump. This will give you a shelf behind the sink; bring the sink forward so you're not squeezed between wall and washer; and make the sink feel equal in visual weight to the other laundry machines.

@kazzuk what did you end up doing? Can I ask where you purchased your sink - is it all one unit?

We ended up pulling it forward so that it is free standing. It is all one unit and we purchased it from Costco. We are having the room tiled at the weekend so once that is finished, we will decide if we want to build a shelf at the back of the sink or leave it free standing. I'll post a pic when its completed.
