Media console/TV height

I recently renovated an entertainment center wall which involved removing a built in drywall entertainment center. The media console is 100 inches wide and the TV is an 85". I am wondering if the TV placement is okay. Viewing wise it is just fine however I wonder if we should lower the TV 2 to 3 inches (I think thats about all we can get based on the wall mount and electrical wiring behind the TV. The current spacing between the media console and the TV is 11 1/2 inches.
We also plan to hang a large piece of art on this wall which will be 40 × 70.
Should the TV placement be lowered? Ceiling height is 10 ft if that helps.

The console is just under the recommended 25% wider than TV so that works, Usually 5" between console and TV so that looks right. It's centered on the ceiling so that's good. With the art to the right I think you'll have a fabulous look.

You need the TV placed so that the center of the screen is at eye level when you are seated, in this case as low as possible to get close to that placement and your ceilig height has no bearing on art or TV palcement unless the art is made to be huge in the space . BTW so much better than that overdone media wall

Thank you both...I am thrilled with the new look. I will have the TV lowered the few inches that I can.
