Commelina, day flower. Not familiar enough to narrow down a species for you :-)

I do believe that's a spiderwort of some type. Some folks grow them as flowers, some folks pull them as weeds- so you can decide if you like them and they are flowers or if you don't and they are weeds.

They can get pretty rampant if they are happy, so even if you keep them as a flower you might want to keep an eye out so they don't wander all over your garden.

Not a spiderwort/ tradescantia. They have a three petaled flower.

Thank you Gardengal, I wasn't aware of dayflowers. Apparently it's invasive in the mid Atlantic, like so many other plants of Asian origin.

There are native species as well but it seems the most commonly found species is C. communis, which is the invasive Asian one.
