Looks aside, pulls are usually preferred for ease of operation.

I prefer pulls, I think they look less busy than lots of little dots around And they are easier to grasp.

I definitely like long pulls instead of small handles. Not only aesthetically, but functionally too. You get less finger touching on the cabinets. On a separate note, I love your island. May I ask how long it is? I am planning my kitchen remodel and love that size.

I agree with @acm. For lower doors, like hip to waist height, don't use knobs. One time, my jeans got caught on a lower knob and ripped my pants. Learned my lesson and replaced them with pulls.

@remodelstop In case @Angelique Martinez doesn't get back with you, her island looks to be about 10 feet in width and about 4 to 4 1/2 feet in depth. These proportions would be based on assuming her island is the traditional 36" high and the sink about the traditional 18" front to back. To get an island countertop this wide without seams, you will need to shop around. Your island size might be limited by the type of countertop you want to use.

@lgreen2008 Thanks. The kitchen island is 4 x 11. We book matched two pieces of greek nova blanca. It is hard to find a slab that long, took some time to find book matched pieces but was worth the wait. We love the size and cannot wait to use it.
