I’m open to that idea but my husband loves how large these are. In order to have them truly fit in the space we would’t be able to have full size appliances.

They look commercial! You could wash a king quilt in that. I envy you.

That said, you could look at a custom frosted glass door on the living room side.

What is behind them? Can you steal a foot from a closet or hall?

Curved ceiling mounted curtain rod, with a very neutral curtain?

@partim @Gcubed It’s an exterior wall behind them so they can’t be recessed or pushed back.

The other side is a pantry. I wonder if I could make that shallower and shift the opening to build out the wall?

Shifting the opening is a good idea, but you will need to do a small floor repair on the pantry side. And a ceiling repair for the living room wall unless you add a header across, the way you have in the kitchen.
