Water Levels in W1

So doing a brief look and the water levels on the W1 look pretty good - well. compared to my 48XX with extra water enabled ?

I was reading up on a older thread on the Little Giants (PW), as I have the opportunity to buy them at a steal of a price....brand new. Was doing a informal read just to get clarity on how the -new- W1 compared to the PW Little Giants , and came across what appears to be pretty decent water levels in the New W1

Be careful if you are looking at the Little Giant sold at Appliances Connection. They are known to sell used/open box items but try to pass them off as new. I contacted them a few months ago when the Little Giants were first marked down and they refused to tell me whether they were brand new in factory sealed boxes.

Did I read the marketing material right. W1 has a stainless Inner and OUTER Drum.

Off to see the specs on the LG

Miele, Asko and Speed Queen are the only brands to offer a stainless inner and outer drum in the USA, IIRC.

Thx Been awhile since I looked at new washers .My 48XX is getting a bit long in the tooth. Only repair I did on my own but did pay like $250+ for the closed part pricing was a set of shocks for the machine.

Really impressed with the water levels on both....

On my 48XX even with high water level, sometimes I will add a bit more water after filling

I'd hold onto your Miele for as long as you can. Even Miele doesn't build them like they used to.

Miele Washes/Dryers in Both city and weekend abode

Love our Pro 15 min cycle Miele Dishwasher for the family/friend gatherings

On the consumer Platinum Series Dishwashers, have not gotten good ROI out of these, although out most current 68XX Dishwasher seems to be doing well in year 2.

The ONLY thing I have noticed is that in our current -platinum grade- dishwasher, thei interior stainless seems a bit thinner gauge. Minor rubbing or something getting pushed does appear to show -dents- more easily

TLG. On the last comment on build, how did you come to that conclusion.

I'm not a Miele Fanboi but there are things in their product line I normally choose by -default- when looking at a appliance in that range

Interesting to hear your feedback about the inner stainless steel on the dishwasher. I have a 68XX as well which is treated very gently and I'd love to know where the tiny dent and rub mark came from on the inner stainless part of the door! Not even going to bother trying to buff out the scuff mark as I'm sure it'll make the finish look worse. I think the dent may have come from their dishwasher air freshener that is supposed to hang on the front of the top rack.

The older ones were matte stainless. The newer ones are a bit more polished. Like a black car, I don't know if I can attribute the dent to the gloss level and see the imperfections vs *matte*. I do kinda, think the gauge is a smidge more ---dentable---. Ha. I have given a knock on it, to see if I could discern the difference.

Now that I type this I realize why it's SHINEEEEE. It's because of the lighting inside the DW cavity !
